Learning outcomes
Upon succesful completion of the course, students will:
  • know various network designs
  • be able to design their own network
  • know how to configurate and set up a network
  • be able to organize routines for operating networks
  • know how to solve basic operational tasks.
Course contents
  • Routines for operations of networks, different operational tasks
  • Network Security
  • Network Administration
  • Windows Server, Novell NetWare and Linux.
Teaching methodsUp to 3 hours of lecture and 3 hours of practical assignments on lab per week.Examination requirementApproved mandatory assignments. Approved mandatory assignments from previous course completion will not automatically be approved for subsequent completions.ExaminationTwo written exams, one of an hour (multiple choice) and one of 3 hours, which counts 30% and 70% respectively. Students must pass both parts.
